Council 12889 was founded in 2001. We work closely with St. Alphonsus Parish providing funds and volunteering for various parish projects. Below are the officers for the July 2009 - July 2010 year.

Deputy Grand Knight: Tim Simunds
A Seattle native, Tim joined our council in 2007. A third degree Knight and active council member, he is currently serving his second term as Deputy Grand Knight. He and his wife have been members of St. Alphonsus for just over five years, where he serves in ministry as Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation and Youth Ministry. His favorite experience as a Knight of Columbus has been spearheading the revival of the parish family picnic and barbecue each summer.

Hovie is a 3rd Dgree Knight of Columbus and a member of St. Alphonsus Parish. He is married with two children and is the Principal and Creative Director at Design Hovie Studios graphic design boutique in Ballard.

Bob has been a member of St. Alphonsus Parish since 1986 and serves as a Parish usher.

Past Grand Knight. Retired owner S.P.D. Security Corporation. Ex member of the Washington State Security Council. 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
Inside Guard: Michael Corcoro
Michael is a member of St. Alphonsus Parish where he serves as a lector and Eucharistic minister. He has been a member of Council 12889 since 2002. He and his wife Lori have four children.

Dan McGeough
Lifetime member of St Alphonsus, alumni of St. Alphonsus School Class of 1969, married to my wife Sandi, daughter Renee who is in St Alphonsus Kindergarten class. Founding Grand Knight for this Council in January 2001, also having served a trustee for 3 years and this year as the treasurer.

My son Charles W and I have been members of St. Alphonsus Parish since 1998. I serve the parish as a Eucharistic Minister at Mass and the homebound, Sacristan, and serve on the Parish Financial Committee.
