Annual Knights of Columbus Crab Feed – POSTPONED

The annual Crab Feed has been postponed indefinitely, because of the current situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak in our community.  This is in response to guidance from the Archdiocese of Seattle and King County Public Health to postpone or cancel any large community events for the immediate future to help prevent the spread of the virus. The current plan is to reschedule the Crab Feed later in the spring. If you would like a refund, please contact the person from whom you purchased your ticket, or contact the council directly using our contact form.  Please check back on the website for any updates.

Volunteer Dinner

Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

On January 18 the Knights hosted a volunteer appreciation dinner for those involved in several of the St. Alphonsus Parish ministries.  Over 50 people attended and enjoyed a prime rib dinner with a baked potato and salad. Council 12889 hopes to make this an annual event to thank those who give their time and talent to the parish.

20th annual Justin Van Hollebeke Memorial Golf Tournament

On August 11, Council 12889 participated in the 20th annual Justin Van Hollebeke Memorial Golf Tournament supporting Wonderland Child and Family Center in Shoreline, Washington. The tournament was held at The Golf Club at Newcastle. Celebrities such as Chris Berman of ESPN and former Seahawks quarterback Jim Zorn also participated in the tournament.

All proceeds benefited the Wonderland Child and Family Center.

2019 Crab Feed

After being postponed because of the snow storms in February, Council 12889 held its annual crab feed on March 23, 2019. This year was our most successful crab feed to date with a record number of attendees! This is our council’s largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the Crab Feed will help support St. Anne and St. Alphonsus parishes and various other charitable organizations in the community.  Next year’s crab feed is sure to be just as popular! Check back next year or contact us for more information about the 2020 Crab Feed.
